Michael & Lucy

I first met Michael when I taught him GCSE photography a number of years ago... So when he contacted me about shooting his wedding I was so thrilled. I remember him talking about Lucy back then and now, imagine, they are getting married.

They have a super relaxed day in Orange tree planned with all their closest friends and family and I know it will be a lot of fun. We had a great day wandering around the docks getting chased by segways, eating rich teas and getting excited by rusty walls. We love it when our clients get as buzzed about the little things as we do...

Jacqui & David

We always hear the same thing from couples when we first meet them "im not really good at getting my picture taken"

This is why we love the pre wedding shoot...it gives people a chance to see how much fun it can be. We wandered in the winter sun, laughing and joking, and in the end, its the love that shines through.

2016

2016 has brought about the biggest change for our wedding company...Pete has come on board! And what a year it has been...

Being part of this team has been so much fun, we have enjoyed every moment with our class couples and their families.

We have a busy year in store next year with lots more changes...have the best Christmas & New Year everyone, especially all our newly weds celebrating their first Christmas together.

And to all our 2017 couples...we cant wait...

Grainne & Jamie

This time last week, we were in the final stages of prep before jumping in the camper vans and scooting to Larchfield. Grainne & Jamies day was full of fun, so many big personalities kept Pete and I entertained all day. All of their friends had a part to play, from very personal readings during the ceremony to fabulous speeches..even one including an accordion...

We had a ball...but i knew we would...

Jo & Danny

When Jo & Danny were planning there big day they could think of nowhere other than lovely Estapona, Spain. Danny's family have had a place out there for generations and the couple think of it as their home away from home.

There were threats of thunderstorms in the days leading up to the wedding, but in the end, the Spanish sun shone bright.

Their outdoor ceremony was like something from a dream... I had to keep taking a second to be present and appreciate the beauty around us as we gathered in the garden to hear the beautiful words spoken by the celebrant.

The rest of the day was filled with fun, laughter, tears and lots of dancing...Dannys flamenco was a sight to see...

Im so excited to share our first destination wedding with you, because this is truly, a remarkable one...

Ellie & Joe

Ellie & Joe wanted their wedding day to be relaxed and filled with all their loving family and friends, and thats exactly what they got. They had one of those weddings where everyone pitched in, everyone had a part to play. Castle Wards' gardens were in full bloom, the pizza oven roared and the dance floor was never empty. They had so much fun and so did I...

Clare & Robbie

When I met Robbie & Clare to discuss their wedding plans, they were super laid back about everything. Clare wasn't sure about where to get her dress, who to book for make up or what to do with her hair. I think I was more worried than she was.

Now that their beautiful wedding has happened, this all makes total sense. This super laid back creative couple had it all on order, they just weren't sweating it.

I spent the morning having an absolute hoot with clare and the girls, which moved casually to a beautiful service in Bloomfield, where Clare's fantastic parents had been married many years ago. The church was bursting with flowers handpicked from Robbie's parents garden which had been arranged by all the family with unbelievable ease.

We then took a quick jaunt to Clandeboye Estate, stopping a couple of times for pictures sheltered from the rain. Clare and Robbies sense of style was present throughout the day, from the hand picked hydrangeas to the cleverly placed teepee at the door, there was love joy, fun and lots lots of dancing. One to remember and truly savour.

Victoria & Sean

So last Sunday, Victoria and Sean tied the knot in a humanist celebration at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, then had a beautiful reception in Home restaurant.

We met Victoria and Sean about a year ago now, and it was clear from the start that they knew exactly what they wanted from their big day. Foodies at heart with an eye for the little details, their meticulous planning and fantastic taste shone throughout the whole day. Their family and friends shared their big day with love in their hearts and smiles on their faces, we felt like a truly welcome part of the team, and that, for us, is just the best.

We finished the day on such a high that I couldn't stay away from the images, and had to share..

Grainne & Jamie Pre Wedding shoot

We had an absolute hoot on Monday evening exploring the city with Grainne & Jamie. The love they have for each other just shines out of their eyes, which made our job so easy and meant it was one of those shoots that could have kept going and going.

They get married at Larchfield Estate in October and I have a feeling...its going to be special.

Victoria & Sean - Pre Wedding shoot

After a week of solid sunshine, we got a gorgeous cool breezy day to stroll around the city centre with Victoria & Sean. The city really has a wealth of beautiful backdrops on offer, none more amazing that the Belfast School of Art, who's towering windows and sculptures provided spaces like no other to shoot.

We shot some film on this one too, giving us a great sense of anticipation about what type of pictures we made, not unlike the anticipation Victoria and Sean are feeling in the lead up to their wedding day, a day we are very excited to see roll round

Archive 12

A couple of weeks ago we had the great task of shooting Claire from Archive 12's flower crowns and accessories. With the delightful conway mill as our backdrop and the beautiful Melissa Elliot modelling, this shoot could not have been better.

We are pretty buzzed about the images...head to www.archive12.com to purchase any of these boho beauties...

Holly & David's engagement shoot

When we met Holly and David a few months ago, it was like meeting up with old friends again, we hit it off instantly. So when they decided to have their engagement shoot where David proposed we thought... yes!

The proposal spot is overlooking the sea in a very special part of Donegal close to Holly's families heart.

So we spent an afternoon walking, talking, joking, laughing, joking and laughing again.

An absolute blast with these beauties, we cannot wait until the wedding day.

Pete & Rachels engagement shoot

When Pete and Rachel got engaged I was honoured to be asked to be their photographer. Pete is the other half of Laura J Curran photography and I could think of nothing better than spending a weekend in dreamy donegal, drinking tea by the fire, walking the dogs, sipping cocktails and wandering the beautiful landscape taking pictures.
